I started this page when I had a Porsche 924. I dont own it anymore. Somewhere in 2002 I decided to make this page a history of cars I owned. Just for myself ofcourse. (or is there really someone else who wants to watch this page?)
| My first own car was a Fiat Regatta. I bought it when I was 29 years old, because driving to my work saved me more than 2 hours a day. At this age I still felt that corners should be taken with 4 tires smoking. I sent the car to car graveyard after one and a half year. (RIP 19980703) | ![]() |
| Fiat Panda. 19980703 This car I got from a former friend of mine. She owed me money, I needed another car. I drove three months in it. Getting it through the dutch APK would have costed tooo much, so I traded it in for a | ![]()

| Ford Fiesta. Finally a car which didn't hurt my back when driving more than one and a half hour. But boring and slow, so I traded it in for a | ![]()

| Porsche 924, which wasn't boring and slow. It had perfect (50/50) weigth distribution. Cornering was big fun with this car. But keeping it on the road got too expensive, so I bought a |

| Audi 80 Probably the most reliable car I ever had. But it was a bit boring. When driving from France to Holland I decided I had to get rid of it. At 150 km/h it wasnt as steady as the Porsche was.... | ![]()

| BMW 525i (E34)I bought this car in august 2001. At that time it had allready driven more than 350.000 km. But it still drove quite well. 20.000 kms later I can say I didnt had too much trouble with this car sofar. But parts are expensive for a car which costed 45000 euros when new... Anyway, this car drives really well. With the automatic gearbox and the way it sticks to the road its a real autobahn car. And perfect for trafic jam cruising while having breakfast as well. ;-) By the end of 2002 I decided to search for another bmw. Allready had some expences with this +370k km car. And was afraid it would become worse. All of a sudden the drivers seat broke somehow. At the garage where I had it fixed they had a oriental bleu '94 525i with half the kilometers the old one had. | ![]() |

BMW 525i/24v (E34) 29/01/2003 I traded the old E34
for this one. Orient Blue metallic with grey interior, which looks
chique I.m.h.o.. I was a bit afraid the manual gear would
disappoint me (automatics are nice for lazy people in traffic
jam), but sofar it doesnt. The 20 extra horsepower and the added
smoothnes from the 24 valve vanos engine make a difference. This
engine really gets alive somewhere above 3500 rpm, but at 1000 rpm
it is also quite usefull (i.e. 25 km/h in thirth gear).
2010-01-06 after almost 7 years and with 320000 km we traded this car for a car for my girlfriend. I am carless now after some 17 years of having a car. ;-) |

| BMW 330i Touring (E91) 2024-03-19 After 14 years of transport with bike and public transport I bought a car again. Reliable German engineering offcourse because that drives best and things that last a long time are better for the environment. | ![]()
|
| BMW 335i Coupe (E92) 2026-01-27 The touring got a bit boring. I always fancied the coupe better. And an exhaust pipe on either side is always better than two on one side. ;-) | ![]()
